When decay or an injury reaches the nerve, the tooth becomes infected and painful. Root canal treatment cleans and seals the inside of the tooth to remove the infection — and lets you keep a tooth that would otherwise have to be extracted.

A dental implant replaces the root of a missing tooth: a small titanium screw placed in the jawbone, which then carries a crown, a bridge or a stabilised denture. Both the surgery and the restoration are done here, at the practice.

Jaw pain, clicking, difficulty opening the mouth, headaches or teeth worn down by grinding can all come from the jaw joint and its muscles. After an examination, treatment can include a custom-made splint and advice to relieve the strain.
